Totspot is a VC backed fast growing startup.

As parents, we observed that our kids grow so fast that their wardrobes are filled with lightly used and unused clothes and shoes. Being the practical parents that we are, and being blessed with a penchant for improving user experience through technology, we started building Totspot to sell and buy used kids fashion. Over the course of building the product and through the private beta, we realized that our users would mostly be moms because they understand brands better than dads. Moms also happen to be the single most influential demographic on household spend decisions, no wonder TV ads are obsessed about targeting moms.

Since clothes dont grow while kids do, our value proposition resonated with our early users and through viral referral loops, we started growing. We are excited that we have not skipped a single month of high double digit growth since our launch in Jan' 2014. Also the pinterest-like feed keeps our users discovering more and engaging more in-app.

In addition to building a revenue positive business, we are motivated by the fact that we are helping moms across America to earn and supplement their family income. Many of our users have made $1000+ selling on Totspot and they are creating their own mini-businesses on the platform. In terms of market potential, we are adressing a $50B opportunity with potential to grow more.
