    Our plans change.
We often make decisions last minute but the ticketing industry is not flexible enough. Thus, you normally end up: paying more, missing out or with unused tickets in your hand.

The idea came up a few years back but was not until late 2015 when Rodrigo (founder) became more conscious of the problem and decided to do something about it.
His friends, girlfriend, and a full-time master were frequently keeping his agenda busy, which lead him to have a spontaneous lifestyle as plans could change last minute. So, often he would struggle to find tickets or someone he could resell them to with so short notice. Being the most frustrating part to know that there were also people in the area looking or with spare tickets but still, not being able to reach them.
However, it didn’t take long for Rodrigo to start asking around and realise that indeed, he was not the only one experiencing this problem.

Rodrigo didn't want to build a business based on promising customers and predictions, so in order to prove the concept and seeking to better understand what attendees and organisers experienced he turned down a job at Adidas UK HQ and became a full-time promoter for 10 months for one of the main event organisers in Warwick which lead to a deep understanding of the needs, pains and what needed to be tackled.

Then, started building a small community of customers by selling tickets offline and offering flexibility (the most simple MVP). Once they bought their ticket, if they wanted to resell it they would send a text and he would collect it and give them their money back as people looking for tickets last minute would contact him. He knew this was not scalable but he needed to test the idea, so when he couldn’t handle more sales this way, he moved online with a Wordpress site and a simple contact form.

Popularity continued, people were buying and reselling their tickets every day and in just 4 weeks, with pure word of mouth he was selling more tickets than any rep; it was evident that people wanted flexibility.

The platform was a good MVP to prove the concept but was not scalable, there still were a few manual things so he decided it was time to build a final platform that could be easily scalable and as automated as possible so he and Alex (co-founder) set to the task. And here we are... with the new site almost ready and excited to launch in a few weeks.

...have you lost money because your plans changed and didn't end up useing your ticket?
