Let's set the scene:

By 2020, 6 in 10 people will have smartphones but only 1 in 2000 will know how to code.

What we believe:

Everyone should be able to program their own mobile devices and technology, and create solutions that impact the world.

What we are doing:

Creating the future ecosystem for mobile applications---one where anyone can build apps, share apps, market apps, get analytics, promote apps on a marketplace and change the world with their mobile technology.

Who we are:

An eclectic group of developers, creators, dreamers and eaters. We take lunch very seriously.

Where we came from:

Thunkable grew out of the App Inventor Project at MIT, and was previously incubated at Google. We were part of Y-Combinator in Winter 2016 and currently have a team of 11 people.
