    We’re a growing team of tech, product, marketing and medical people who truly care about what we do.     We are now a team of 100+ based in London, with a fast-growing consumer subscription product as well as a partner platform and a lot of exciting stuff behind the scenes and in the pipeline. There are lots of problems we work on that aren't immediately obvious: How do we optimise pricing between multiple labs? How do we make the physical testing process as simple and easy as possible? How do use genomics and wearable data to add context to customers' results?

    Engineering at Thriva

    We currently have three teams within our wider Product Team, each one dedicated to tackling a different stage in the customer’s experience. Each team consists of a Product Manager, a Product Designer, Backend and Frontend Engineers, a Data Scientist and a UX Copywriter. We work in two week sprints and at the end we have a retro to reflect on what went well, what we have learned and what we can improve moving forward.

    We also have a developers meeting so engineers from different teams can share learnings and we do a lot of pair programming. Each team member has their own area of expertise so we all help each other learn and grow.

    On Fridays we work on our Thriva Labs projects - this is the time to work on something of your choice, perhaps with someone from a different team, and you can choose to do it using a technology that you’d like to learn! On the same day we also get together for a little demo so any team member can showcase what they’ve been working on during the week, no matter if it’s finished or not.
