We started out as a mobile rewards network. As we grew to service very large brand clients, we needed to begin to buy inventory out of our network. What we learned is that complex rich media ad units break down in different network SDKs. We also learned that as many as 4 of every 5 ads that we were serving were not viewable for reasons of fraud or poor SDK integrations by developers.
These serious problems prevent brands from making real media investments in mobile. The problem is so profound that although 25% of all media is consumed on mobile, only 2% of advertising is allocated to the medium. Our team has spent thousands of man hours and millions of dollars to develop elegant solutions to these problems that have vexed even the largest tech companies in the world.
Our data and engineering team is pioneering a technology that establishes a first ever 1 to 1 matching system to leverage the highly personal nature of a mobile device and create customizable ad units for an audience of one. Despite this level of incredible personalization, we are building high performance network applications at 'Google' scale.
