Why Thanx?
It's clear that brick and mortar businesses are at risk because of online tech companies like Amazon. While Amazon knows everything about their customers (search/browse/purchase history, demographic info, age, address etc.), offline businesses have no idea who just walked into the store.

Thanx is changing that - we enable offline merchants to compete by providing the data, insights, and ability to engage with customers to drive revenue in an increasingly data-driven world. The offline retail market is a global, $4 trillion market, and we are on a mission to fundamentally change it.

Our History
Thanx was founded by Zach Goldstein, a Stanford MBA and former Bain & Company consultant who worked with national retail companies, developing strategies for customer satisfaction and retention. Seeing a huge need for a tech solution for customer loyalty, Zach assembled an A-list team to found Thanx. Since raising Series B at the end of 2016, Thanx has more than doubled the customer base and grown more than 250%.

Thanx Engineering is a small 6-person team of curious and collaborative engineers. We are builders who love solving real-world problems and make it happen. We are a relatively flat org. There is a great opportunity for a senior engineer to come help shape the future of our platform, tech, and team. Our stack is RoR + React, SWIFT for iOS, Java for Android apps and we are on AWS.
