Where do we come from?

The Tempow Team met in San Francisco, without any idea, but a strong feeling there was something to be built together.
For 3 months, we brainstormed, interviewed students and whoever was around, and eventually came up with the powerful idea that music shouldn't be personal. You shouldn't have to choose one brand of speakers; all speakers should be able to play music together.

From this point forward, we looked at the Bluetooth technology, and discovered that it was impossible to connect more than one speaker to a single phone: that truly bothered us. So we took our computers and re-coded the Bluetooth.
In only two months, we were able to connect several Bluetooth speakers with our phones, and in no time, we could also synchronize and harmonize them.

What do we do?

We want to make music more social.
The tech that we are developing enables the user to connect, synchronize and harmonize up to 5 speakers, from any brand, any model etc...

To do that, we had to re-write a considerable part of the Bluetooth stack. We now have to integrate this tech in an android app.
Once we have this app, everyone will be able to throw a "bring your own speaker party", and the more people will be there, the better the music will sound. Speakers will finally become a social part of your life.
