What is Symphony?

Symphony is an extensible and modern e-commerce platform. We provide two crucial services to every retail company today needs: a digital storefront on every device and intelligent fulfillment and logistics systems. Most e-commerce applications and platforms are over 15 years, overly complex, and behind the times. We are in high demand and are therefore very picky with which brands we work with.

What makes your teams different?

Education is very important within the team so we therefore have a strong mentorship program that includes design reviews as well as code reviews. We actively encourage learning through books, conferences, and classes, which are all reimbursed. Our engineers are creators, not just builders, and work directly with product management and design. We strive for balance engineers - everyone gets the ability to present in front of large groups, talk to small business owners, learn how to interview, learn how to negotiate contracts, and meet our investors. Our team is luckily very social and we actively hang out together and plan activities outside of the office; the current favorite is top-roping and bouldering.

What do we look for?

We look for two key traits in all of our candidates exceptional problem solving skills, good clean readable code, and most importantly cultural fit. Being collaborative and able to work in a small team is very important for us too.
