What we do

Swipecast is a game-changing startup that enables clients in the creative industry (currently fashion, but expanding to other verticals) to book models, stylists, makeup artists, video directors and photographers directly from their desktop or their iPhone, saving 30% or more. We allow users to message each other, review each other’s portfolios, set up castings and send secure payments. Users get paid right away, rather than having to wait 60-90 days to be paid by agencies. We are revolutionizing the $50 billion+ global marketplace for fashion freelancers. We have been covered by Vogue Magazine, Forbes and Business of Fashion and have users in 30+ countries.

In order to create something truly amazing, we need to solve some exciting engineering problems, and can only realize this goal by hiring the best engineering talent on the planet. What you'll do

We are in the midst of creating the platform that our world's top creative professionals use each day to connect, collaborate, showcase their work, and receive payments. Consequently, we currently spend the majority of our time building out and refining the product features involved in those processes (real-time messaging, logistics around full productions, and payment infrastructure) as well as perfecting the user experience behind our design and the aesthetics of our platform. As an engineer at Swipecast, you will have responsibilities and take initiative in all of these areas. As the platform matures, we expect data to play a greater role
