Our Tech Stack

To support the high growth of the company, we automate as much as we can. We are getting really close to having full continuous delivery on all our services, libraries, and SDKs (we have a few hundred repositories on github).

Most of our microservices are built using Javascript and Typescript. We also have some Java in a few places, as well as some some Go, Ruby and Python. In terms of databases, we use Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, and Druid (If you haven’t heard of it, google it and read about the lambda architecture). We glue everything together using Kafka.

All services are built using Docker and deployed on Kubernetes on AWS across different regions (we have more than a dozen clusters deployed using infrastructure as code to six different AWS regions).

Our web frontend is built mainly in Angular and other libraries and tools in that ecosystem (RxJs, webpack), and our mobile clients and SDKs are mostly built in native Kotlin and Swift.
