StatX is founded by Prasad Raje (www.linkedin.com/in/prasadraje) and Pablo Bellver (www.linkedin.com/in/pablobellver).

Prasad was most recently the Founder and CEO of Instantis, a successful VC funded startup in the cloud Project Portfolio Management software business, acquired by ORCL. Pablo was at Google for 10 years and most recently was the co-creator of Google Now, which innovated a push model of contextual information delivered in visual 'cards', and was user 1 for an app that now has 300M users.

Our key insight is this: Today's business collaboration apps are just not suited to the mobile and smartwatch era. They were designed for legacy desktops with browser/mouse UI paradigms. We are rethinking group collaboration from the ground up with a blank sheet of paper, designed mobile and smartwatch first. We are building for small screens, short attention spans, minimal clickiness, visual appeal, touch interaction, push notification etc. We are not doing email, messaging, file sharing, social networking, project management etc. This is truly a game-changing, wide ranging application that everyone around will end up being a user of. Unlike most other companies you will see, StatX is really early stage (you will be employee #3-7 in the company), yet risk is low with a sizable $2.5M funding round. And you will own large sections of the codebase (the entire Android client, the entire iOS client, the server side, the API side), not just small bits and modules.
