Soho House is a creative space for our diverse membership to connect, grow, have fun, and make an impact. From the beginning, and throughout our 25-year history, our members have always been at the heart of everything we do.
We opened our first House on London’s Greek Street in 1995, when founder and CEO Nick Jones was offered the space above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme. The rooms of the townhouse were accessed via a small door just around the corner from Cafe Boheme, which inspired Nick to turn it into a members’ club for the local artists and actors who had become the restaurant’s regulars.
Since opening 40 Greek Street, Soho House now includes 35 Houses in 14 countries, with more openings in Europe, Asia, and North America on the horizon. Over the years our brand has developed and diversified into Soho Home, Cowshed, Soho Skin, The Ned, Scorpios, and The Line, not to mention more mouth-watering restaurants!
Our Digital transformation began in 2019 with the focus of enhancing our members digital experience whilst in the House and outside. We have now created a proprietary digital platform, and through that introduced innovative solutions to improve our member experience. These digital first products include ‘House Pay’, our unique digital payment service, ‘House Guest’, our global guest check in service and ‘Connect’ our in-app member to member connectivity platform which allows our Soho collective to seamlessly book, pay, consume content, and manage their memberships from any device.
Since launch, these digital products, have significantly increased our members digital engagement which enables us to support our physical expansion, our new membership types, and acquisitions. As we continue to drive innovation, we are committed to expanding and developing our Digital teams.
