The website which was founded in 2012, has grown exceptionally quickly, courtesy of the support from loyal shoppers quick to share their deliveries and to celebrate their unique, fashion finds resulting in a cult social media status.

Supporting UK talent as well as brands from all around the world, SilkFred make it their mission to be the first to discover the best new independent brands and share them with shoppers looking for affordable pieces that are different from the high street.

SilkFred cuts through the noise of online shopping, standing out from the crowd and providing a central destination for shoppers to find original yet affordable pieces that their friends won’t have; a retail space for the discerning customer and fashion savvy in search of some of the most exciting independent brands around.

HOW WE INTERVIEW & HIRE

We'll start by calling you to say HELLO, to answer any initial questions and to arrange an interview. We hold interviews at the office, so you can see the where you'll be working. You can expect at least 2 interviews, one with the founder and one with the most relevant person in the team you'll be joining. Depending on the role, we might ask to you spend a few hours working with us on particular task. We would then make an offer. The last step is references, which we would always require from previous employers.
