Like many great solutions, SendGrid was born from the frustration of three engineers whose application's emails didn't get delivered, so they built an app for email deliverability. Since launching in 2009, SendGrid is now responsible for sending billions of emails for some of the best and brightest companies in the world. How We Interview & Hire

Our interview process starts with an introduction where we'll learn about you, your desires, and your background and you'll get the same opportunity to learn about SendGrid. We want to make sure you understand who we are as an organization and that we both believe there is a mutual fit. Once we've determined that SendGrid could be your future home, you'll have the opportunity to speak with your future manager covering both the expectations of the role and allow them to further determine if your skills will allow you to thrive in our environment. If you're an engineer, you'll then get the opportunity to show of some off your skills by going through a technical interview. When it's time to come on site, you'll be greeted by a cross-functional team that will give you insight into what it's like to work at SendGrid while they also get the privilege to assess your functional, technical, and behavioral competencies relative to your role. Throughout the process, you'll be guided by our recruiting team who's goal is to make this the best possible experience for you.
