What is Reflektive?

Reflektive, the performance management platform, is an innovative, employee-centric suite dedicated to talent development and employee success. Based on the principle, “Invest in your employees and they will invest in you,” the Reflektive suite features integrated performance touchpoints including Real-Time Recognition and Feedback (Gmail, Outlook, Slack & Apple Mail plug-ins), Agile Goal Management, Performance Reviews, and Coaching Check-Ins.

As an HR culture focused product and company, we care about developing our talent. As a key developer on our lean team, you'll actively participate in feature planning and development. You'll work directly with product management, sales and marketing so that you get the big picture of how what we're building is affecting our sales pipeline and customers. We'll map out your personal goals and proactively work to help you achieve them. We encourage you to understand multiple parts of our business and are excited to hear you interested in how sales calls work, how marketing efforts transition into engineering projects.

Our product is in demand & on trend. Everyone is looking to upgrade their current employee performance management tool, with something that is modern, useful and scalable. Engineers will be making a direct impact on a platform that is enriching lives.

Sample list of current clients (over 450 active) include: Uber, Pinterest, AirBnb, GitHub, Imgur, Instacart, Snapchat, Sequoia Capital, Protective Life Insurance, Blue Origin, Bungie, GrubHub.

History & Investment Information

Reflektive received angel funding from the co-founders of Playdom (acquired by Disney for $500 million) to help solve the company culture disconnect between leadership and employees. Birthed out of our CEO's owernship of a 100 person mobile game studio at Disney, he realized there needed to be a solution to grow employees from the ground up, not just top down.

With co-founders who've also been in the industry, the alpha product was launched in April of 2014 to Quantcast and Optimizely. By the end of the 2014, Andreessen Horowitz invested in Reflektive, with the lead partner being Lars Dalgaard, the founder and former CEO of Success Factors (acquired by SAP for $3+ billion). With Lars' deep HR expertise and Andreessen Horowitz's backing, we set to put their support to immediate use. He led Andreessen's investment in Reflektive. He saw how HR is transforming to becoming employee-centric, and that Reflektive is leading the way. They seed funded Reflektive $3.5M.

A year later, LightSpeed Ventures recognized how quickly we were spreading in the industry. We were changing how the industry saw employee performance. Hitting some top VC metrics, we were in the top 10% of in terms of company performance. LightSpeed and A16Z invested over two years for a total of $38.5M.

Our most recent investors, TPG Growth, are known for accelerating intense growth at scale. Our continued performance metrics and leadership in their space caught their attention. TPG Growth invested $60M.
