Ravti is a online platform to track, manage and purchase HVAC equipment for commercial real estate. At 32% of every buildings maintenance and repair budget, HVAC - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning - is the most overlooked operating expense. While costly, HVAC expenses are currently tracked by carbon copy paper, if at all. Additionally, many tenants in shopping centers are required by lease to maintain their HVAC units, yet there is no easy way to verify or enforce that it is happening.
Ravti software solves these problems and more. We start by taking a full inventory, and geotagging, photographing, and attaching an QR code to each piece of equipment. From there, we upload the equipment to our software and allow managers to request work on each unit, avoiding local markup. Additionally, our software reaches out to tenants through a white-labeled compliance program that ensures they are properly maintaining their units each quarter. Finally, after collecting and uploading the carbon-copy service history, we analyze the data to provide deeper insights on past and future spending.
A Y-Combinator ‘14 alum, Ravti was founded by a HVAC engineer who felt that the industry was extremely outdated. After getting its start in Silicon Valley, Ravti is now based in New York and serves nationwide REITs across the continental United States. It is our goal to shift the way commercial real estate interacts with HVAC by creating predictive budgets and empowering proactive, data-driven spending decisions.
