Who are we?

Rain allows people from the Middle East to buy and sell cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum. We strive to provide superior security, pricing, and support to the region. We are also opening an institutional trading desk for higher volume clients. Our team at Rain fundamentally believes in the potential for cryptocurrency to expand, connect, and improve a global economy.

We are a regulated cryptocurrency exchange with a partnership at a regional central bank, as well as multiple other banking partnerships. We believe we are a security company at our core. We are working closely with regulators to form one of the first licensed exchanges of our kind in the world. We strive to offer some of the industry's best rates and great customer support. We have already served our first cohort of customers as we prepare for launch.

Rain is 8 people at the moment, and comprises of ex-founders and employees from companies that include Abra, BitQuick, Glidera, Bitgulf and more. We have two incredible partners based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Cairo, Egypt. Our engineering team is based in both San Francisco, California and Manama, Bahrain.
