Pazien was born out of the realization that payments and the partnerships needed for a global payments strategy are becoming increasingly complex. In fact the future of payments and our industry mission needs to evolve to a higher purpose assisting merchants in becoming closer to their end customers by creating an interaction that is safe, efficient, data rich and on the consumer’s terms. That vision can only be created through a global view of data across providers and a global marketplace of services with universal accessibility.
Pazien's vision for global merchants means that payments needs to about guidance that breaks down the complexity and puts us on a shared path with relationships that are built on a common belief system and data set – creating an unbiased dialog across an open ecosystem leading to the democratization of payments with access and choice to the best information and providers that lifts all participants.
Our mission is to create products that breaks down the complexity of payments through global access to actionable data allowing merchants for the first time to take control of their payment ecosystem relationships.
Our technology team with backgrounds from Google, Amazon, Nokia, and Litle have started down this path working with several customers launching our first customers in November 2014. Our Culture Code is the following:
We look to hire people with the following values Judgement, Communication, Impact with a Bias for Action, Innovation through Simplification and a Passion and Courage to fight
We start with a 20 minute phone conversation with the CEO/founder and VP of Engineering. This is designed to walk you through our story, vision, technology stack, and culture. It gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about the company, team, role and culture while providing us the chance to learn about you and your career goals.
The next phase is a 2 hour in person conversation designed for you to meet the team and hear more about the product. During this time you will work on several coding exercises and go over your background with several members of the team. After this meeting we can make a formal offer very quickly.
