Who/What is OWLR?

OWLR started out as a IoT play, building out a mobile middleware platform to connect all of the wearables and IoT things (e.g., SmartThings, iBeacon, etc). We found that there is an underserved market of people who want to use their IP cameras without having a corporation having the keys to their home. They want control over their own safety and privacy.

OWLR is becoming the solution - bringing about control and awareness to the fingertips of our users.

We are not just building a IP camera viewer - we are building more: building tools that allow regular people to do what they want without needing to understand the tech. We are focused on giving them control and getting the tech out of their way.

We are building a network where people will be part and parcel of what is where - and growing their awareness through these channels (yea, kind of hype-y, but we have to keep some things private).

We're based in Moorgate and are close to a bunch of transit stops. And we value great discourse rather than task people. Are you up for a challenge?
