At Outline, our goal is to build the digital wholesale brokerage for the future of the $160B E&S insurance industry. We’re working with the premier carriers and agencies to build a new trading experience that turns painful and time consuming back and forth into a seamless digital experience.

We’re at a unique time here at Outline in that we’ve started the transition from a small engineering team to a broader engineering organization, and we’re looking for foundational engineers to not just deliver value to our customers but to also build a thriving culture. Due to early successes in the market, we’re well capitalized and have a solid 18 month roadmap and many years of runway.

Software Engineers at Outline write, test, document & evolve the code and software systems that deliver value to Outline and our customers. Our stack is TypeScript, React, Node, and Golang, continuously deployed on AWS and continuously tested in CircleCI.

Our teams are small to enable focus, and often employ Agile Development practices to solve problems in a complex real world domain where the requirements may not yet be fully defined, so the solutions need to be resilient to change while being stable and performant.
