At One Medical, our mission is to transform health care for all by building a world-class primary care system that delivers the highest-quality care and service affordably.
Clearly our nation's health care system is broken: it's enormously expensive, delivers mediocre results, and fails to treat patients humanely. At One Medical we have the potential to fix this system fundamentally by building a top-notch organization with amazing people, thoughtful processes and innovative technology.
One Medical Technology:
Traditionally, the majority of healthcare systems are set up with outdated technology that prioritizes profit over quality of care. At One Medical, our engineers are building new software that is cloud-based, comprehensive yet polished, and intuitive so our doctors can focus on what’s actually important--the patient.
Our members use public-facing mobile and web apps that help them book appointments and have 24/7 access to their doctors and medical team. We’re also working behind the scenes on our end-to-end platform called 1Life. Through this, doctors are able to view entire medical history, examine past notes from other doctors, order lab tests and prescriptions, contact others on the care team for feedback, and document visits in real-time. 1Life allows our team to focus on building meaningful relationships and improving quality of care, thereby keeping our patients healthier (and happier).

We stay humble and empathetic, putting people at the heart of everything we build and every decision we make.
We communicate effectively, respect our teammates, and make the difficult tradeoffs that foster the success of the organization.
We know we don't know everything; we're always eager to learn, and we're never afraid to question the status quo.
By staying open minded, creative, and positive, we push beyond constraints that have stymied those before us.
Driven to Excel
In our quest to be the best primary care group in the country, we get $#!+ done and pay attention to the little details that matter.
