    Founded in 2006, we are the home of gifts.

    We support over 5,000 small businesses. Everything you see on our site has been created, picked, baked, designed or chosen by someone living their small biz dream – and we’re growing every week.

    ​​Each of our small businesses has been hand-selected by our team of in-house curators (so you know they’re the real deal) and it’s our job to give them a platform and champion them every step of the way.

    T E C H @ N O T H S

    We are now mid-way through building a new modern microservices architecture-based platform. Using cutting edge technologies and different languages (React, Next JS, GraphQL, AWS ECS, Lambdas, Java 11 and Swift for iOS to name a few), over the last 12 months we’ve launched new mobile first & native app checkouts and an Android app, delivered a new search function and replatformed a new modern basket service, and are now in the process of moving all of our services to AWS Elastic Container Service.

    But there’s still lots to do. With a focus on learning, development, best practices, agile ways of working and team autonomy, we’re looking to grow our strong internal tech team even further. Which is where you come in…


    P R O C E S S

    We understand people are busy so we aim to be as flexible as we possibly can with our interview process. Below is a little taster of what our interview process looks like:-

    1. Screening call with our in-house recruiter Nic
    2. Technical phone call with an engineer (30 - 60 minutes)_ - We think it's important for you to get talking to our engineers here, to find out what life @ NOTHS is all about. Let us know what you're about too so we can make sure that we're the right fit!
    3. Technical challenge - we have a take-home tech challenge that you can complete whenever and wherever you can! It will then be reviewed by our engineers before inviting you to meet (or shall we say e-meet) with us in person.
    4. Hangout interview (2/2.5 hours), including a technical assessment and a team/values session

    Interviews can be stressful and take a lot of time and effort so we know how important the follow up is. Regardless of the outcome, we endeavour to provide each and every candidate with constructive feedback. So no matter what happens, you feel valued and take something away with you too.
