Our newspapers and digital products include some of the most powerful media brands in the English speaking world: The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun - reach 30 million people each week. Our mission; to use technology to innovate & lead the global conversation on the future of journalism and storytelling.
Our digital media family includes ad tech company Unruly, radio stations including Virgin Radio talkSPORT and talkRADIO and social media intelligence and news agency Storyful.
We’re an open source tech team that is helping millions of people keep their fingers on the pulse. We build amazing digital products that let our audience read our newspapers and listen to our radio stations wherever they are, quenching their thirst for news, opinion and entertainment.
We work in a modern office on the bank of the Thames next to The Shard, overlooking famous London landmarks. The hubbub of newsrooms and editorial floors for The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun are at once frenetic, hi-tech and traditional. Upstairs our radio studios broadcast Chris Evans and his celebrity guests on Virgin Radio, as well as famous visitors at talkSPORT and talkRADIO. You never know who you might bump into in the lifts!
We hire juniors who are beginning their journey all the way through to principals who are at the top of their game. We are passionate about engineering as a craft and are committed to making sure that our people improve and grow while they are with us.
We are passionate about community engagement and encourage our engineers to write articles, attend and present at talks and conferences. Our open source code bases are a fantastic showcase for your development peers to see the code you write, as well as using the products you build.
