VenueScanner

VenueScanner was founded out of a major pain-point that myself and my co-founder experienced in attempting to find and book Venues for meetings, workshops and Christmas parties at M&S.com. We found ourselves continuously ending up in the Hilton next door (for EVERYTHING) over-priced, uninspiring and impossible to book last minute. And all the meanwhile, down the road sit 8 pubs with amazing upstairs areas, a church, a community centre and a warehouse, all of which would have been perfect for our events...if only they were bookable.

So...in early 2015 myself and my co-founder put our heads together and were adamant about creating a first-class online experience for the Meetings & Events Industry and to provide a platform for undiscovered venues (churches, school halls, pubs, community buildings) to market themselves.

Having come from an e-commerce background, we are both obsessive about customer experience, data and automation and as we explored the industry, we discovered that there were no marketplaces where you could search, compare and book a range of venues.

So we launched VenueScanner.com in April 2016. We quit our jobs in August 2016 and are now seeing some great early traction.

We are now looking to build our founding team around us to begin true industry disruption! And our first hires we are looking to make is a full-stack maniac and an SEO/PPC..everything google expert. If our up for a fun, challenging and rewarding ride...get in touch.
