About mParticle

Mobile

Mobile. It's changed everything. From how we interact, to how we consume content, to how we get from Point A to Point B. Most importantly it's changed the way that businesses, organizations, and our favorite brands engage with us. You're now able to find a date, buy movie tickets, and have dinner delivered all through apps on your phone.

The apps you use on a daily basis to check the weather, the game, or to "like" your bf's new dress - all of them - require a number of tools to help them be successful. Why? Because building apps is HARD WORK. Building successful, sustainable apps is even harder. Once you've created your app, you're then tasked with choosing everything from an analytics vendor, to a push provider, to an attribution service. All of these tools require you to put an SDK in your app. Activating and managing these tools is a drag on production, efficiency, and internal resources. If that's not enough, after you've deployed one of these SDK based tools, you then need to wait for an app update to activate their service(s) on your user's device.

Our Point of View

At mParticle we believe that SDKs amount to foreign code, which is a risk to your app business. The more SDKs your team has to manage, the more risk you're exposed to. We believe organizations should be able to use these tools while mitigating the risk inherent to them. mParticle helps organizations overcome this risk and drag on resources by removing the technical dependencies associated with activating, using, and managing these SDKs. mParticle is a mobile data hub that abstracts SDKs allowing organizations to leverage these tools without the need to involve precious development or engineering resources. In doing se we enable product and marketing teams to use and experiment with tools ad hoc, all without the need to involve technical resources. It's a win across marketing, product, and engineering.
