Miner

Miner is a location-based mobile commerce platform that brings business and customers together around mobile shopping moments.

Our technology allows any business to open a smartphone-accessible store, and place it at any location or event. Customers at these locations access the shop via our iOS or Web App, and can pay in two-taps. Miner is free to use, and makes money by charging businesses a small fee on sales transactions.

We believe personal context is missing from the mobile shopping experience. By combining the convenience of mobile shopping with the context of location, Miner helps businesses be relevant when it matters most, and gives customers a contextually relevant shopping experience on their smartphones.

Our growing team of 8 works out of our office in downtown Manhattan. We are experienced entrepreneurs, but also musicians, athletes, gamers and hackers who intimately care about what we create. While we work hard together in a fast-paced startup environment, we’re also known to let our hair down every now and then with a celebratory team drink or outing.
