MedCircle is a well funded startup founded by a group of entrepreneurs with multiple successful exits. MedCircle is a "Health Education Network" which is using the principles of Social Networking to increase engagement and provide health education.

MedCircle is focused on reinventing health education and engagement among providers, consumers, and their advocates. A Healthcare provider can see up to 1,000 unique patients a year, but lack the time to educate thousands of their advocates. Most of these patients and their advocates look to the Internet to find answers to their medical concerns. Often this content is not credentialed, and there is no ability to privately interact with a trusted source.

MedCircle sees a business opportunity to benefit health care professionals, the consumer, and their advocates by providing a platform for the delivery of trusted healthcare information.
