About Libra

Libra has spent the past three years fulfilling a critical role in the emerging landscape of blockchain technology, distributed ledger systems, and smart contracts developing software that works with a variety of protocols to deliver continuous information for audit, tax, risk, and regulatory use. This is a significant improvement over existing practices which are forensic, periodic in nature, and occur across a multitude of legacy systems. We’re engaged in some of the most interesting projects in the industry, with clients and partners including the Big 4, top tier financial institutions, and other industry-leading blockchain startups. We're searching for engineers that get excited about the opportunity to collaborate and build these next-generation products and services.

You’ll be responsible for

• Contributing to our flagship product, Libra Enterprise, by developing reporting, compliance, and analytics tools used by high profile clients
• Thinking critically about software architecture, infrastructure, and usability in order to scope and drive projects to resolution
• Working full stack or specialized on our back-end (API, integrations) or front-end (web app)
• Implementing the aggregation and organization of data from external systems
• Building out alerting and monitoring for production systems

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience writing high quality, test-driven, scalable, version controlled (Git) code using one or more of the following languages: Ruby, Javascript/Node.js, Java/Scala
• Knowledge of micro-service architecture and orchestration using containers (Docker) deployed to the cloud (AWS)
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience or interest in distributed systems and blockchain technology
