    The Problem

In the UK alone, leakage in pipes results in a loss of billions of litres of water every year. As the population continues to grows, water use will increase and this problem will only get worse. Ofwat, the regulator of water in the UK, has recognised the problem and set targets for water network operators to reduce their leakage by at least 15% between 2020 and 2025. This problem is not unique within the UK, it is estimated that water loss amounts to billions of dollars in network maintenance and waste globally. Think of losing more than 400 Olympic swimming pools of water every day and what it would mean to the world to help stop that.

    Our Mission

Identifying problems in water networks is hard, the network infrastructure is more often than not located deep underground or under busy streets. Without sophisticated equipment or major disruptions to roads/streets, it is nearly impossible to do any diagnostics work on pipes. At Inflowmatix, we aim to empower the network operators by providing them with simple solution to gain insights into their network without causing any major disruptions to the public. We develop our own custom built industrial IoT enabled devices, which gathers high frequency data at specific points in their network and pushes it to the cloud. Our analytics system processes the data and produces insights on the network which we convey to the network operators to give them a glimpse into their network performance. Additionally we can go even further and assist them to automatically control the network to "calm" it and reduce the likelihood of bursts.

Inflowmatix has it’s headquarters based in Southampton, UK and is already working with several companies based in the UK and also a few global names to push the boundaries of what is possible in the industry. Check out our website to learn more about what we do.
