Gaia’s mission is to make fertility care accessible to everyone. Through empathy, scientific data and leveraging the help of artificial intelligence, we will ensure that more people can afford treatments and have a better patient journey.
Like 5 million other UK couples, our founder and CEO struggled with realising the dream of having a baby. They have been right there on the physical and emotional roller coaster: heavy hormonal therapies, daily injections, frequent and unpredictable early morning visits to the clinic for bloodwork and ultrasounds; and finally, surgery. Spending tens of thousands of pounds on acronyms like IVF, ICSI, IUI, PGD with no guarantee of success. Being just another number in a general statistic.
So we founded Gaia to help change this experience.
We predict the number of treatment cycles required to have a baby based on a couple’s individual clinical factors and lifestyle data and insure them against failure. This will help to finance treatments, manage expectations, and prepare for the emotional ups and downs that lie ahead.
Our long-term vision is to dramatically improve access to the point of meaningfully reducing the cost of treatments. With time, we aim to reposition fertility from sick-care to well-care as we educate women and men about their reproductive health early on in life and help them build families when they are ready.
