Who We Are

Forward is building the world's most advanced healthcare platform by combining hardware, software and doctors under one roof to make high quality healthcare available to all.

We were founded in January 2016 by former executives and engineering leaders from Google and Uber and led by serial-entrepreneur, Adrian Aoun. We are funded by some of the world's best investors and entrepreneurs including First Round Capital, Eric Schmidt (Google/Alphabet chairman), Marc Benioff (Salesforce founder), Joe Lonsdale (Palantir founder), Joshua Kushner (Oscar co-founder) and Garrett Camp (Uber co-founder).

At Forward, we provide a new type of all-inclusive primary care membership that combines 24/7 concierge-level access to doctors with advanced technology without copays or hidden fees.

Our custom built exam room system replaces your doctor's paper notes and clipboards with a beautiful display that captures and structures the important parts of the conversation right in front of your eyes. Our technology increases transparency, and allows the doctor to be focused on your goals and questions instead of typing or writing. The result is better data, deeper collaboration, and a more human experience.

It's no secret that healthcare is facing major challenges. For us, the problem is personal. Each of our founders experienced a close friend or family member not getting the care they should have. Those experiences inspired us to create Forward. Our goal is to combine the best aspects of physicians – judgment, empathy, and experience - with the best aspects of technology – scalability, cost and convenience – to bring higher quality, lower cost healthcare to as many people as possible.
