In April 2019, Flocabulary became part of Nearpod. We're two products, two offices (Brooklyn and Miami), but one company and one shared vision. We believe technology should help bridge the opportunity gap, not widen it. Together, we reach more than 4 million student users.
The Flocabulary product brings student voice to forefront with videos that use hip-hop music, story-telling and humor. Students do activities, play games, and we track their progress.
The Nearpod product is a digital lesson platform. Teachers pick pre-made lessons or create their own, adding in interactive experiences for their students. The goal is to have students using technology the right way: to have rich experiences and connect with other people in real life.
