At Factmata, we believe that information overload is leading to people and businesses not being able make sense of what they see in front of them being misinformation or genuine. This includes rumours, hoaxes, one-sided bias, false claims, fake news, false promises and many more. Being able to discern the truth is increasingly harder in the world of fast media. With the rise of platforms where for anyone to share and post anything, and where content is not produced by those who check it, we believe that misinformation is going to be a major issue that humans won't be able to solve by themselves, and machines will have to assist.
Factmata is headquartered in London, and plans to expand into the US. For more information, visit Factmata's Medium blog.
