A Few Highlights

Our goal is to prevent the 4,000 fatalities a year caused by truck accidents, reduce the 50,000 truck driver shortage, and make moving goods across the country twice as fast and half as expensive, improving the efficiency of the entire economy. Our team became the first ever to drive an automated truck coast to coast in February and we were the first to start moving real freight for customers last fall on a 650 mile stretch of highway from California to Texas.

Today we have driven 100,000+ miles autonomously and are making daily freight runs between LA and Phoenix with no disengagements. Our engineering team is small and made up of people from world class companies like Mercedes, Volkswagen, Ford, Uber ATG and Apple.

How we Interview:

The first step is to jump on a 25-30 minute call with Michael who is our technical recruiter. He will share more about Embark, the role, answer your questions and spend time learning about your work and what you are looking for.

After that, we will setup an hour long video chat with one of our engineers on the team. This is a more technical call and a chance to dive deeper into your projects. The second half will be used to jump into a short coding exercise on coderpad.

The final step is to come onsite! The is a half day getting to know the team, highlighting your experience, more technical chats, a coding problem, and taking a demo ride out in the truck! 🤖🚚

Our entire process can move as quickly as you like and typically first call to decision is finished in 1-2 weeks.
