Eigen Technologies is a team of 125 scientists, engineers, strategists, and creatives based in London and New York.

Backed by Goldman Sachs and Temasek, we provide flexible and accurate natural language processing (NLP) technology to clients across multiple sectors.

We want to empower individuals and organizations to make the right decisions by unlocking the value of their qualitative data.

Our Story
Eigen Technologies was founded in 2014 by Dr. Lewis Z. Liu and Jonathan Feuer. Starting with a small team of scientists and engineers, we developed our core technology using insights from Lewis’s PhD research in laser physics at the University of Oxford.

Since then we have grown rapidly in both London and New York. In June 2018 we closed our $17.5m Series A funding round, led by Goldman Sachs and Temasek, and in November 2019 we closed our $37m Series B funding round, led by Lakestar and Dawn Capital (with Goldman Sachs and Temasek involved again). Allowing us to accelerate our expansion and our investment in research and development.
