While a post-secondary degree is the most critical it's ever been -- college grads earn 70% more than their high school counterparts -- the decision to go to college is setting millions of students up for financial failure. 20% of students experience hunger at college. Over 40% of students drop out, with the number one reason being financial pressure. And 43% of federal student loan borrowers are in default. We're here to change that.

Edquity is the first of its kind college financial planning app for high school and college students, supporting students through each and every financial decision related to college to ensure students have the financial means to get to graduation and achieve financial success thereafter.

Our co-founders are two former Yale classmates and a third lifelong New Yorker/serial entrepreneur, who together went on to previously found a non-profit college access organization that served hundreds of low-income New York City high school students. That experience was seminal in shaping the direction of Edquity and the ethos of that work continues to drive the culture of Edquity.
