We work with thousands of hotels to ingest a wealth of data, including hundreds of millions of search events, reservations, and market pricing. Our clusters of MongoDB nodes house all of our data. We’re always working on scaling both our ETL architecture to support the ingesting and publishing of all of this data, as well as our query architecture to quickly provide actionable insights, all in a streamlined UI built with React and other modern UI frameworks. We continue to explore other technologies, including a Haskell service that serves rates in under 10 milliseconds.

Speed

On your first day, you’ll have the core application running on your local machine. In your first week, you’ll have shipped code to production. We believe in delivering frequently and iterating with customers to provide the best experience possible.

Mentorship

Our team includes senior engineers from some of the top companies in the world. Our co-founder and CTO is Craig Weissman, the ex-CTO of Salesforce who helped build the multi-tenant architecture that powers Salesforce today. He’ll be one of several senior engineers reviewing your code. We encourage learning from each other and switching teams periodically to work in different parts of our stack and learn continuously.

Work-Life Balance

Continual product releases keep the office busy, but it’s not a boiler room. Team members have flexibility and autonomy to complete projects, and they’re as comfortable gathering for lunch every day as for coding scrums. You’ll get feedback on your work after frequent demos, and the whole team celebrates at release parties and outings throughout the year.
