Datacubed Health began at New York University as part of The Human Project, a quest to develop the world’s most extensive and incisive database of human behavior, environmental influences, and genetic expressions. Using the latest sensors and apps to assemble a complete record of how we spend our days, the project was designed to catalog the qualities and circumstances that make us who we are. The Human Project, a 20-year study of 10,000 New Yorkers of all ages, backgrounds and economic statuses, drew a boundary around a microcosm of the city. The Project was designed to use uniquely sensitive tools to gather hundreds of points of real-time data about how people sleep, eat and spend their time and their money. As a commercial offshoot of The Human Project, Datacubed Health starts from a human-centric point of view. Everything we do, from the questions we ask to our interface with our subjects, puts understanding people first.
Datacubed Health was founded to be a leader in this new field of deep phenotyping platforms which is leading the next evolution in human understanding at the vanguard of predictive analytics and precision medicine.
