Who we are

Crossing Minds is an artificial intelligence company that is creating the world’s leading algorithms to help better understand and predict consumer behavior. Founded in 2017, by AI researchers Alexandre Robicquet, Dr. Emile Contal and Google X founder Dr. Sebastian Thrun, the company’s mission is to allow every consumer-facing business to deploy the best recommendation engines in a few clicks. Our team is currently based in San Francisco, Toronto, Paris with more offices to come!

Leadership Team

Our CEO Alexandre Robicquet has received 3 degrees in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. He earned his first two masters degrees in Mathematics and Machine Learning at age 23 from ENS Paris-Saclay. He turned down his full scholarship at Stanford for a masters degree in AI to focus on Crossing Minds

Our CTO Emile Contal completed his PhD in Statistical Learning in 2017 from ENS Paris-Saclay, the most prestigious French University for Applied Mathematics. The impact of his research has been seen and cited numerous times by top Machine Learning conferences. The algorithms he's invented are now implemented in software libraries used by thousands.
