What is Cognitive Computing?
We are on the brink of a revolution in computing that will change the way that we analyze data and make decisions. Cognitive computing will tap structured and unstructured data sources, analyze that information, and provide insights to decision makers across industries. From healthcare to travel, Cognitive Scale, Wayblazer, and our family of cognitive companies empower provide clients and consumers to make more informed decisions at the snap of their fingers.
Who we are
We are a group of companies incubating happily as we grow and scale to be separate, but interdependent entities. We are currently 35 strong, working in an open office space in the hills of northwest. Engineering, sales, design, and marketing sit side by side while creating some amazing new products. We are a casual culture that is intensely focused on making an impact for our clients.
Collaboration is the name of the game at Cognitive Scale and Wayblazer. We share tables, pair code, and often join each other's conversations across the office. There's strength in numbers, and we think that working together allows us to make a bigger impact on our clients.
We aren't all work.... we like to have fun, too.

Our Recruiting Process
We're small, we're agile, and we know what we want. If you are the candidate for us, we will usher you through the process quickly.
First, we will take you through a quick phone screen. We will let you know what we are all about, while we learn some of your strengths.
Second, we will send you a coding exercise. This is where you flex your technical muscles and show us your stuff!
Finally, we bring you in for a half day of interviews. Don't worry, it's not your typical interview day. We ask you some questions, show you some of what we are working on, then we treat you to a nice lunch. By the end of the day, we hope to answer all your questions and learn everything that you have to offer. We typically can make an offer very quickly.
