The ChatID Network is the world’s first and only way for brands and consumers to directly communicate across any channel, on any device. Our fast-growing family of brands and retailers is ushering in a new era of how companies connect with their customers.
Founded in April 2011, ChatID was one of twelve companies to emerge from TechStars, a startup accelerator in New York City. We are leaders in XMPP/Jabber—the technology powering text, voice and video chat for billions of people every day on Google, Facebook and Cisco products. Our founding team built Prosody, the highest-performance and fastest-growing XMPP communications server. In 2012, ChatID, along with SAP, won the Vision Awards from the Technology Services Industry Association.
ChatID is venture-backed by FirstMark Capital, a venture capital firm with nearly $2.0 billion in committed capital. We are fortunate to be advised by industry leaders who have served at brands like Google, HP, P&G and Salesforce.com, as well as the former Executive Director of Shop.org and co-inventor of “Cyber Monday".
