Cascade was founded with the belief that business analysts are capable of much more than their tools allow them to accomplish. Beneath the surface-level dashboards that every company looks at, there is a giant iceberg of custom, purpose-built analysis that drive decisions every day. Those analyses -- market share calculations, expansion financials, user demographic breakdowns -- combine historical data with forward-looking models to come to a conclusion. Those models used to be the domain of business analysts, but as data size and sources have exploded, their tools have not kept up.

Cascade is offering business analysts a toolkit that allows them to pull datasets from any source, run a custom set of analysis on their data, then pull from than analysis to tell a story for the rest of their organizations. Cascade's repeatable workflows eliminate the incredible amount of repeated work an analyst does today, and allows analysts to share and build on each other's work.

Cascade was founded in 2019 by two repeat entrepreneurs, and is backed by leading venture capital firms including First Round Capital, Redpoint and Susa Ventures.
