    About us

CareGuide has been growing steadily, and continues to be a profitable and sustainable business year after year. We cater to millions of users year round, and strive to keep a product that is lean, quick and functional. We're dedicated to making care more accessible. We know that life can be stressful and busy, and the right care makes all the difference.

We're a tight-knit and seasoned team shares this commitment, and one of product and technical excellence.

    What we value

Ownership and Accountability. We have high expectations and admire a strong work ethic. We strive to work sustainably and reliably. We would rather have a stable product with a few features than one that requires constant attention but more features. This culture is visible through the entire team, and drives us as a whole.

Collaboration. We strongly encourage and support pair programming, as well as cross domain pairing, such as design/development pairing. While timelines remain important, we recognize the value of working together as a team and making sure everyone is on the same playing field.

Exponential career growth. There are no levels, no work is off limits or beneath our team. Whether you have years of experience or are brand new, you could end up anywhere on the complexity and impact spectrum. We expect you to lead the initiative, even if it means you don't do any of the work. What we do expect is that you can or the team is able to be accountable for the work afterwards.

Dedication to quality. We know what it takes to run a platform long term, and we endeavour to keep quality high while producing impactful features. We live and breathe by the Kanban Board. Every turn is an opportunity to question "Are we really working on the most important thing" and to defend, "It is not done until we agree that it is of the right quality"
