Live is a venture backed (Series A), stealth mode tech startup based in Soho, Manhattan New York with a global mission to index the world by space and time. We are building the first live ongoing index of places and events in a way that's never been done before.

Live is in a very unique position right now in our growth. We are rapidly growing our engineering team in anticipation of our beta product launch and preparing for a major round of funding.

Our problem domain is a uniquely interesting and global one: to accurately track the places and experiences available in the world. We think about how to model space and time, how to normalize many disparate data streams, and how to scale our operations globally.

Our strength is in our people. We maintain a high engineering caliber and have a very collaborative, cross-functional approach to building our product. We're very proud of our company culture and love where we work and who we work with. Our founding team has a high level of experience with successfully starting and exiting startups. Engineering Interview Pipeline:

1) 30 minute chat to assess interest in company / problem domain / product
2) 30 minute phone screen (5 minutes of intro, 20 minutes of coding on a problem that resembles day to day work, 5 minutes for questions)
3) 3-4 hour take-home assignment designed to resemble day to day work
4) 1-2 hour programming session designed to resemble day to day work
5) interview with ceo + offer
