What we do
We think big and we don't cut corners. The internet is full of bad guys trying to trick unsuspecting users to make a quick buck. Our mission is simple: Clean up the internet.
Protecting big company's brand identities...might not sound like the most exciting thing, right? But when you get down to the technology behind it, we are doing some extraordinarily complicated things. We crawl the web to trace the flow of web traffic and identify places where a brand is being used incorrectly or inappropriately in specific offers, free form text, or even IMAGES! Directing a crawl against big chunks of the web and filtering the results to find the needle in the internet haystack is a mind-blowing challenge. We truly are a "Big Data" company.
Who we are
We are a bootstrapped company and have been growing steadily over the past 8 years, but with more and more scams being run everyday we're starting to see business boom.
That said, we want people in it for the long-haul, and make the workplace feel like home. Most of our employees work 40 hour weeks, we truly have an unlimited vacation policy, we're extremely transparent with our finances, and enjoy throwing back some beers over a game of foosball while enjoying the view of Elliot Bay.
Work/life balance is cliche, but this is what it is like in our employee's own words:
Our company is built on five simple but meaningful principles:
Invest in the long term: It can be easy to take shortcuts in the interest of an immediate need. From our products to our customer relationships to our startup culture, we do what's right for sustainable success. We're bootstrapped and profitable with many customers, so the quick buck is not our play.
Be flexible: At BrandVerity we are committed to the company and to each other. Nobody hesitates to pick up any job that needs to be done and do our best to knock it out of the park.
Always learning: Every interaction we have with customers and co-workers is an opportunity to gain a new perspectives and make better decisions in the future.
Powerful but simple: Useful enterprise software doesn't have to be complicated. We can make the most difference when our story is told simply and our products are easy to use.
Quality of life: Overstressed people working too many hours cannot sustainably do their best work. With knowledge work, and particularly software development, a better idea can save weeks. It's important to us to take care of our team so that they can do their best work every day.
