Who We Are /
Beautystack was founded by Sharmadean Reid MBE, Ken Lalobo and Dan Woodbury. We like smart people who want to be challenged, are ideas driven and like to move at a fast pace. We have a chill but progressive working environment, we work super hard but also care about families and our personal well being.

We've signed up to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #5 - Gender Equality - Empowerment of Women through Technology and work to build a product that can economically empower women and change the future of work for independent Beauty Pros by powering their careers.

What We Do /
Beautystack is a networked marketplace app for influential beauty professionals. Our users post images of their work and their clients can book directly from an image, see what their friends are booking and like and save their favourite treatments.

First and foremost we are a technology company and we are total geeks, and are committed to using innovation to drive the beauty experience forward whether that is Computer Vision to track trends within the app or AI to predict booking patterns and advise the Beauty Pros on Client behaviour.

There's a ton of fun technical challenges ahead of us, being applied to an industry that often gets overlooked by Computer Science.

Although on the surface we have a pretty cute app, it's creating a lot of data of value. What do you think we can do with it?

We care more about doing the work than "Start-Up" Culture and try not to waste time. Our company culture is driven by alignment of goals. We spend less on pizza and beer and more on an experiential away day bringing our users and developers together so that we are not building blind. We have an attitude of transparency and honesty, and are constantly adjusting our processes and we move fast. When things get crazy, as they often do at a start-up, we pause, reflect and readjust.
