We are creating the first truly digital end-to-end mortgage in the UK by completely re-imaging the process using data analytics and smart contracts on blockchain, we’ll be able to make getting a mortgage faster, less cumbersome, more certain, and ultimately cheaper.

Acre is a team of product specialists, with a wealth of experience re-envisioning legacy systems to build best in class new experiences. We raised a £5m seed round from Aviva and growing rapidly.

In the UK, the average home purchase with a mortgage takes three months to complete. Through a range of intermediaries, documents and conversations, it’s incredibly inefficient and frustrating for all parties. Acre’s platform allows this process to be significantly sped up and, through our strategic partnership with the UK’s largest Mortgage Provider, we are about to launch our platform with 15% of the UK’s market going through our platform, representing £40bn worth of mortgages annually.

Acre was designed from the ground up with compliance in mind. Its private blockchain provides one system of record for every product recommendation the broker makes, alongside the justifications and documentation, stored securely and unchangeably. This record is the source for all business submission, client reporting, and commission calculation, and provides a complete history of each mortgage for compliance.
