Staffjoy

Staffjoy's founders met in college math classes, then worked in the engineering department of OpenDNS together through its acquisition by Cisco. There, Staffjoy started as a side project based on college research. They transitioned to the project full-time in the first class of Y Combinator's Fellowship program. Afterward, the team raised a seed round of funding from a group of small institutional funds and angel investors.

Professionally, the team is mature and experienced, but hungry. We have all worked in high-growth startups in the past, but we continue to grow and learn daily. We own responsibilities within our areas of expertise, but consistently work outside of them to tackle company objectives.

We track "People scheduled per week" as our core company metric, but we are strongly focused on growing revenue. We set realistic deadlines, work hard to achieve them, and step back afterward to celebrate our successes.

Our office is located in the historic Fisherman's Wharf neighborhood of San Francisco. It may seem odd to put an office here, but we love it. Come by and see for yourself!
