We believe that any can be their own boss. But, for many, the obstacles (getting paid, having benefits, finding customers) get in the way.

We know because we've been there. Each of Payable's founders has been a self-employed contractor throughout their careers. We were fortunate enough to take the leap, but faced the same lonely struggle that millions of others faced. How do I charge? How do I get paid? Combined with our stints at Intuit, we saw a clear opportunity to help the smallest of the small businesses not just survive, but thrive.

Payable is focused on getting contractors paid for the work they do. We allow them to track work, automate invoicing, and get paid directly to their bank accounts. That's to new technology platforms, regulatory changes, and generational shifts more and more people go in to business for themselves.

This is the future of work and Payable is its infrastructure.
