The Onera Story

While working at Bain Capital Ventures, Sahil met with countless retail executives lamenting their struggles to keep up with consumer expectations and the changing demands on their physical stores. At the same time, Srinath was working at BloomReach to help retailers yield massive benefits by leveraging machine learning to improve how their products were discovered. Together, they set off to build a company that could dramatically improve the modern retail experience.

Onera is derivative of the Latin word Onerarius, which means to take on burden. And that is precisely what Onera was founded to do - to take on the burden of applying the latest advancements in data science and machine learning to empower retailers to more effectively delight their customers.

What's our interview process?

• 30-45 minutes phone screen: We want to make sure you would fit well in our Onera family. We take this time to understand your experience and what you’re looking for in your next role.

• 60-120 minutes (virtual) technical interviews: There can be one or two technical interviews prior to your onsite visit.

• Full day of onsite interviews. We want to meet you in person and provide you the opportunity to interact with most of the team.
